My heart hammered through my ribs, urging my legs on, roars thundering through the ground as scales rushed passed me in a blur. My sword trembling in my hold, its glistening metal showing my vulnerable expression in mocking. Why was I here?
The other group charged with equal ferocity- it was clear only one of us would come out alive. Adrenaline laped at me like the wind, slowly growing in speed until a full tornado swirled inside of me. I coudnt die. In Aaron's name I will take them down. The god of life stared down at me, knowing an unforgivable sin was about to be committed by its very own children- I just wish I knew why.

13 Dragon Kin
Love, and lovers, friends, and family. Dragons have all of these, but as with everything scaled, winged, and tailed, rarely are things simple. This is a story of a young man called Alex, who grows into something he could never imagine. Set some two centuries after the end of the Temple of Balance story, this tale continues with telling some of the tales of the dragons met in Dragon Isle. It is set after Raphael, Zarnia and their family have lived on and later left the Isle of Young, as described in Immortality, but before Raphael, Hurbek and Josephine become deities. Josephine's kidnap is referred to briefly in the tale. Halos is still a living, powerful deity for the duration of this story, and Raphael and his children are still mortal. I would at the very least advise reading Dragon Isle before this story is embarked upon, but if readers would rather skip it, it is important to know that dragons can shapeshift into ordinary humanoid shapes and live in those shapes, they are fertile with other races, and unless taught to shift or shifting is brought on by stress or anxiety or triggered by magic, half-dragons usually appear as fully humanoid but with scales on their heads instead of hair. Dragons in the Four Realms have ordinary, complex lives, and many do ordinary jobs or serve the deities. Dragons also have ancestral memory, which is a memory of everything their parents knew, inherited at the time of conception, and they can connect with each other over long distances in their dreams. The tale contains male-male love but does not include any overly-detailed sexual content. It also contains swearing, homophobia and fantasy-fiction parallels to racism, and a young man who far prefers wearing skirts to trousers, and it begins with one of the best argument scenes I think I've ever written! What happens when a king asks a half-elf moron, a mentally unstable rogue, a perverted druid, and a racist arsonist to save his daughter from a fierce dragon? God certainly didn't know, but he made it happen anyway. He regrets it deeply. His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. HTTYD AU, takes place after httyd 2 Our story follows one peculiar dragon named Dancer. She is all night fury, but she certainly doesn't look the part. Dancer is an albino. When Dancer was young, her older brother, Apollo, left their island home. She never knew why, only that, one day, he stopped interacting with her. The pupils of his eyes turned to slits, and he flew off, into the sunset - leaving her behind. She was heartbroken. Whatever his reasoning, because of her older brother's choice, Dancer came to a conclusion. She decided that she would never be left behind again, EVER again. Days turned to nights, which turned to weeks, then months, and, finally, years. With plenty of practice, Dancer became the fastest dragon ever to be known- much faster than your average night fury. ~~}•{~~ One day, Toothless and Hiccup went for a flight. Coming back down from a flight, Toothless's tail got jammed, and they went down. Hiccup was fine, but Toothless got a nasty knock to the head and went out like a light. When he awoke, something was off. He could never remember what had happened before the Red Death, always assuming that he had been her slave since hatching, but that wasn't the case. He had a life before that, and he finally remembered it! He had a name. He had a family. A sister! What was her name?! ....Dancer. ~~}•{~~ After a big crash, Toothless was acting weird. Hiccup was worried, his best friend was always staring off into the sky, but never wanted to leave. Toothless wasn't eating. He was barely sleeping, too. For All of Dragonkind: The Beginning
First, there was existence. Then, creation. And finally, life. Organisms started to exist and live on the insignificant planet known as Earth in the middle of a galaxy out of the endless void that is space. Two races gained a gift all other creatures don't have: intelligence. Humanity and Dragonkind. Dragonkind was gifted with power and strength, while humanity had dexterity and creativity, always hungry for knowledge. However, when a conflict threatens to destroy the world, dragons become the definition of beasts and humans become nearly helpless to survive the onslaught or become monsters themselves. As the planet closes on its own destruction, a child born of both universes will be either the last light of hope to end the bloodshed once and for all or become its greatest threat to not only Earth, but possibly the whole universe. As two beings run from death itself, their child must survive not just to save Humanity, but all of Dragonkind as well. But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.Complete
