The Hargreeves siblings all return to the year 2019, but they're in a different timeline. In this timeline, their father,  Reginald Hargreeves, has adopted seven different children that go by the name "The Sparrow Academy." The Hargreeves stay at Hotel Oblivion, deciding to stay there until they figure out what's going on. 

During their stay there, they meet Y/n, a quiet yet observant girl who has a secret. She isn't from their world. She's from the real world, and she was sent to their world for reasons she doesn't know. The thing is, she was given a special ability. Her ability? The power to narrate time. What does that mean exactly? Well, it means that with her special journal, she can write what can happen, when it'll happen, and who it'll happen too and that thing will happen. 

The longer Y/n stays in their world, the more she starts to find out that she's not there to help them stop the apocalypse and the end of the world. She's there to make sure the end of the world happens. The thing that sent her there says that if the end of the world does happen, then they will send Y/n back home. She doesn't wanna do that, but she does want to go home, so she decides to sneak letters to the Hargreeves siblings, explaining things while being sure to be vague.
