It did not win any brownies, but I still thought I should put it up somewhere. I have not edited or changed the contents since then, to do justice to memories of where things started. "The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word.
