The Good Girl Trope

In a world full of misguidance, roughness, and pure hate, there is a particular set of girls and women who are brought up in a way that ensures we crave validation and attention and strive to be the best.

We need to be "good girls", always do what we're told, to remain innocent (at least surface level), never speak out, always help others even when we're extremely unwanted, and pride ourselves in our ability to keep our mouths shut.

We are what most men dream of, but always mistreat when they have an actual chance from us. Thus damaging us further mentally, sending us spiraling into a world we never knew.

Jess is a bright 22 year old woman with the whole world in front of her, graduating with a degree in nursing, her first job as a Trauma nurse, and her brand new apartment. She's never been happier, until she meets Cain. The bane of her existence. The thorn in her side. Yet, she can't stay away from him.

Cain is a 21 year old man whose life has been less than perfect. Constantly battling himself, fear of losing his youth, and his unhealthy attachment to his past. Until he meets Jess. Jess becomes a source of temporary relief, a spec of joy in his life. Until she isn't.
