The world stopped for exactly three seconds as they stared at the body.

The air was still, just like the corpse laying on the ground below them. She hadn't screamed, but the feeling of one echoed around inside the building, sticking to the walls. Then time started to speed up when the full realization of what they had done hit them. On the floor beneath them laid the pale structure of a woman, her arms flared out at unnatural angles. There was one thing the two of them were certain of, Walburga Black was dead.

Mary MacDonald is a wannabe fashion designer working at the House of Black, Lily Evans is a criminalology student assigned to the case of the murder of the matriarch of that fashion house. The two are falling in love. The twist? Mary was the killer.
