After the tragic murder of her parents and the mysterious disappearance of their trusted housekeeper, Ramona Matsumura, the daughter of Shota Aizawa's closest friend, finds herself under his care. At just 16 years old, Ramona is already the No. 7 Pro Hero, known as Namonaki, secretly working as an assassin for the Hero Public Safety Commission. But her double life is shrouded in secrecy-no one knows her true identity or her age.
Haunted by a traumatic past and a skewed understanding of heroism, Ramona is transferred to U.A.'s Class 1-A. There, she must not only relearn what it means to be a hero but also navigate the challenges of living a "normal" teenage life. Her classmates' hopeful and idealistic views of heroism clash with her cold, pragmatic mindset, and a certain explosive, spiky-haired blonde seems determined to make her transition anything but smooth.
Can Ramona bridge the gap between her dark reality and their bright ideals? And in the process, will she discover her own purpose and what it truly means to be a hero?
