Elijah, a young guy, who finds the love of his life on the girl next door. However his dark upbringing and flashbacks of an unhealthy childhood have a way of playing with his mind and emotions. Elijah grows up in an abusive household. His father beats up his mom everyday and also abuses alcohol intake. He tells Elijah that's how a man should be, head of the household. Elijah meets the new girl who just moved in next door, Vanessa, on one of his strolls around the neighborhood (the ones he takes to forget about what happens at home). Vanessa, a girl with good Christian parents and upbringing. She somehow looks past the darkness that wraps his eyes, and sparks love in him. Will they be able to make it?
