In a remote village, an old deserted mansion looms cloaked in secrecy and gloom. Villagers murmur about its evil reputation but stay away from it. Clara, a painter looking for peace, settles in despite cautions. She likes the silence at first, but soon senses an eerie presence. Odd sounds and dark shapes disrupt her calm. She finds a diary from Eleanor, a former resident, who wrote about a growing darkness and an evil force that took her over. As Clara looks into it more, the gloom in the mansion grows stronger. Shadows spin around her, and she finds herself stuck. The mansion seems to thrive on her dread sucking the last bit of light from her spirit. By dawn, Clara has disappeared leaving a spooky painting and a feeling of dread. The mansion stays, its mysteries hidden waiting for the next person to fall prey to its darkness.
