I've noticed how many Stanford fanfics arent actually active.. most written when the show came out so I wanted to change that with the fandom picking back up and all!

This isn't my first story I've written but it is my first on Wattpad. If you think I should change anything or wanna give me tips lmk! Anyways onto the description 

Stanford and y/n were college buddies. Being geeky but still full of life. Later it evolved into something more. But during their relationship fords work completely overtook his life. The portal being the only thing he focused on. When Stanley came to visit everything was turned upside down. The portal sucking in your beloved boyfriend And breaking apart all in a span of 5 minutes. After spending 30 years of your life to get him back, will he still want you? Even after you've aged and changed?

I will try my best to make this a non gender specific story but if it seems more feminine lmk! I'm a woman so really it's just my experiences poking through. The Y/N is described by being a little more shy, an art student who definitely didn't get into their dream school. No specific clothing will be mentioned unless it's a hoodie. You guys can imagine your own wardrobe:)

This story will mainly be fluff but with... suggestions. If you want something more I mean hey, request it but I won't make it a necessary read. Just an addition if you would like.All Rights Reserved

The first anomaly was Stan Pines. I knew him as Stanley, he had always been Stanley when I was younger, when it was just him and I, but his niece and nephew knew him as Stanford (or Grunkle Stan). When I left Stan's care 21 years ago, I thought I knew him better than anyone. Sure, I was five, and sure, we probably didn't talk about everything but... You would've thought he'd have mentioned his brother. Stanford Pines was the second anomaly. I had spent an entire month in his room, never recognizing it was actually his. I read his books, I looked over his math, I added footnotes to his theories... never even knowing it was actually his. Stanford Pines was unknowingly my childhood idol, what pushed me forward in my scientific field through out life and ultimately the reason I came back to Gravity Falls. Finally, the third anomaly was how he made me feel. I lived a life that was uncommon, you could say I myself was an anomaly. My mother sold herself on the streets, dumped me at orphanages and with "family friends" that seemed a lot more like strangers. I had spent most of my school and college life avoiding people, only ever bothering to send birthday cards and holiday greetings to Stan over the years after he had taken care of me. So why did my heart ache to get to know Stanford Pines? Why did I spend countless house of the night wondering if he had eaten enough? How was he feeling? When was the last time he slept? Is he as haunted as he looks? Does he blame himself? Does he notice me? Does he truly hate Stanley? Is he lonely? Does he notice me? Is he good at playing piano? How does it feel to hold his hand?
