This is a continuation of a already established story called mistakes made by  @sacred-eclipse who sadly left the story  

I'll be honest with Y'all this my first story so I can't promise you if it will live up to the original or be good but I will try my best to do so 

Also I am open to any form of criticism so if you have a tip or something to improve the story even by a little bit please leave a comment 

I'll be trying to post at least one per week that way you guys don't starve from a lack of content 
but there could be multiple parts in a single week depending on how I am feeling

It's by no means perfect, rushed and a big pile of shit. But I'm planning on making a 50-70 chapter book of just v and johnny. I'm a newer writer. This book is mid and I decided to do a different approach on v and johnny. Every book I read always makes v very rude to johnny or johnny just a complete asshole. While I love those books and their take, I wanted something different. So I decided to do soft!fem v and soft!male johnny for this book. It's mostly my own storyline. I do use some parts from the game. My 50-70 chapter book will have more fighting scenes and more about the game in it. But currently this is just something I wanted to whip up! Running Blind - A David x Becca fic by PantsAreDragon

I picked a point in the series and started an alternate timeline where David returns Becca's affection and they fall in love. Much of the plot and some dialogue is directly from the show, and I added scenes and tweaked the plot with the goal of a more satisfying but still believable ending. AKA a retcon. LET'S GO, CHOOM! Starts near the end of canon Episode 7 - "Stronger" when the crew is having celebratory drinks. But instead of David calling it a night and going to see Ripperdoc for fine tuning, he decides to stay and cut loose with Becca and Falco. I loved this show but I also can't help but wish it went differently. Becca was best girl (and character) in my opinion and seeing David just leave in this episode when she clearly wanted him to stay bothered me. She was canonically in love with David, and stuck with him even though he didn't love her back. Right to the very end. But I think before the time skip that he actually did like her and could have loved her if the sequence of events were just slightly altered. So I wrote a headcanon for this scene. I hope you enjoy.
