A Fight for Survival - Band of Brothers

A young woman who loves only the country, faith and country, finds love in the midst of a war. 

Molly "Ginger or Shorty" Nelson and her best friends Alexis "Alex" McMahon, David "Dietz" Dietz and Andrew "Drew" DeYoung. The women join a secret government project for women and men join the paratrooper 506th division. The four want to fight for there country in the midst of the second world war. The four meet the famous Easy Company of the United States, 506th and join them on their European campaign. They meet the boys and instantly are showered with praise, security, and compassion. The young red headed female lieutenant catch the other Easy lieutenant eyes.

Dick Winters is a young lieutenant who obtained the highest academic standing in the business college. On August 25, 1941, Winters enlisted in the Army. He would write in his memoirs that he "had no desire to get into the war" but joined to fulfill a one-year requirement of service and to avoid being drafted later. While touring Camp Artemis with his fellow companies members. They meet a strong sniper and nonchalant intelligence officer. Dick begins to have conflict amongst his feelings.

The government, along with the War Department and direction from General Eisenhower decide this is a secret, covert operation that the public will be shielded from, to see how integrating women into war will work. Each of the 250 women come with their own ambitions of what they want from war and why they signed up in the first place to be apart of this program. They become split into each of the 5 branches with leverage from each of the branch commanders, and split into groups of 2, 3, or 4 women and are placed into their different respective branches. The enlisted men of each branch, well, they do not know exactly how to approach a woman who, at the moment, has more military training and experience by the time they get placed into their positions. Hazel Parker, Catherine McCown and Elizabeth Elliot are placed into the 101st Airborne, the first 3 women to be apart of the Airborne. A few other women head off to the 82nd. These 3 women become part of the 506th and are put under 2nd Battalion, in Easy Company. Honey Hartz wanted nothing more than to be somebody, not a somebody, THE somebody and that's exactly what she was. •••• It was never easy surviving in the 70's, especially being a woman who wanted more in life than raising children. It was hard decade for most, but Honey felt like the world was out to get her. She was a young girl who wanted to pursue her passion as a singer, which didn't rub well with others. It was odd to see a woman expressing herself, especially while doing something that didn't involve men. But when Honey decides the housewife life isn't up to par, she chooses to take her future into her own hands, as she travels across the country to pursue her music career in the booming city of Los Angeles. There, she meets a man named Teddy Price who makes her an offer she can't refuse, but it comes with its downs, having to improve and work with a unknown band called, 'The Dunne Brothers' The hard-ass lead singer gives her a run for her money which would have usually angered her enough to tell him to eat shit (she did) but it was as if something was holding her back, and she suspects it's the tall brunette with enchanting brown eyes that she longs to stare into until the end of time: but she also happens to be the lead singer's wife.
