In the midst of a war against the Heavens, a free-willed machine who had recently began to ponder its morality chooses to save a wounded Angel rather than kill it off. For this act, the machine was promised a "life worthier than that of man," and that it would be given immense power. Though, while the Angel was taking the machine up to the Heavens, it got gunned down by one of the mindless war machines. The machine was dropped into purgatory, all the way to the bottom of the mountain. To the Heavens, it was now considered a lost cause.
As it climbed from a steep pit at the bottom of the mountain, a deep frost began to cover the land as a last ditch effort to stop the machines from attacking. The fallen machine takes one last grasp at a thick tree root that was sticking out before completely freezing over.
There is only one thing left for this machine once it inevitably awakens. Climb the mountain of purgatory to reach the Heavens. That or simply die trying.

They came for me, when i had let my guard down. Even though i had expected the empire of the monsters and its accursed emperor to come at me with everything they had. They came for me when i had least expected them too, in a way i had least predicted them too, using the methods and tactics that made them, and made him for who he is. See...Peace can do that too a man. Hope can do that too a man. Light can do that too a man. It can make you lower your guard down. Even though i had honed my fists and mind, i would and I should not have lowered my guard down. Because i had done so, the people i cherished the most-the men and women of the cold valley, suffered for my negligence and my incompetency. And worst of all my little brothers and sisters paid them, with their future and their innocence. By doing this they caused a bloody war. By taking from me they instigated a bloodshed. and either of them they should not have done. Ultraya: Origins

Angel and Devil
Some people said there was an afterlife for every soul. Some would go to heaven and some to hell. But some said you just die and nothing else. No one really knew what would be waiting for you after you die – that was what made death scary. But I could tell you, there was nothing to be scared of, unless you were a very, very bad person. The saying of heaven and hell was right. There was a hell waiting for you if you were considered a sinner that could not be forgiven. Like killing someone, just one single person, could get you banned from heaven forever. However, if you were a kind person, then you may gain access to heaven, and join many other angels there. Or else, you would just end up with devils eternally. You may ask, how did you know that? Well, because, I was an angel. I was good enough that I could go to heaven and joined my beloved ones that had also turned into angels. But now, I must give up my life as an angel for a while – I was given a mission, to save someone from the edge of being banned from heaven.
