Once, monsters were a constant threat to humanity; The night belonged to foul creatures that preyed on mortals. Cradles and beds were snatched, bodies found torn to shreds in the morning. The streets ran red. It was said that it was like hell was set loose on earth. Little do most know how close that was to coming true. But that was nineteen years ago. Times are much safer now, thanks to the sacrifices of many brave Monster Hunters who laid down their lives for a better world, pure of evil. Now, many train to become Monster Hunters in order to maintain the peace their predecessors fought so selflessly for. Aspiring monster hunter, Allegra, is joining the prestigious monster hunting academy her own biological parents established -Before their untimely deaths, that is. But although she has also worked diligently all her life to become a hunter, her reason for joining the same Academy is much different to that of Allegra's. Specifically, it is because of Allegra, that she is joining. When Allegra and Ripley come face to face and are forced to work side-by-side, how will their relationship unfurl? Especially when they both discover that they may have much more in common than first thought -when they learn that they are two wasps in a bees nest. Or two monsters in the hunter's den. When only they can save the world from the dark forces their parents failed to truly defeat, will they prevail?
