Note: This is a retelling of my unfinished story "Exiled". I was updating it and writing a draft for it, and then I felt that I was going at too fast of a pace. I felt that conflicts were being introduced only to be solved the next chapter. Basically, this is just an attempt at being a little bit better of a writer.

Within the kingdom of Uvroya, a small orc village known as Krognak lies in the dense forest just outside the human village of Gaeton. Rarely was anyone ever allowed to enter Krognak, and even if they were, they were met with glares of anger that sent chills through the body of any visitor. One day, the orc warrior Jakor is preparing to guard the border of the village and upon making his way to the border, a human is spotted within the brush, just mere inches from crossing the border...All Rights Reserved

Preview: I feel the blood running down my head from the attack. I try to move but my hands are pulled back from the silver chains on tied to the wall. Glad that trained my body to not be weakened by silver, I use all my strength to break free. I start walking to an exit to complete the mission but then I feel my wolf stirring up from excitement which distracts me. Out of nowhere, this man appears in front of me and holds me again the wall. When I touch his skin I feel warmth and comfort and sparks. He's my mate! I look up to see my mate is Alpha Jax, the evil man that kidnapped Scarlett. I try my hardest to squirm of out his hold praying this is not real. He laughs evilly and lifts my head to look right into my eyes, "I am going to kill you, mate."

I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I don't get the chance to contemplate this as I stumble backwards, my consciousness slipping away from me. And then everything goes black. ---------- Scarlet Denton is a fiery young she-wolf with no family and no pack. She lives in the outskirts of Crescent City which is ruled by the feared Alpha Ethan Kane. They may live in the same area, but their lives are quite different from each other. What happens when they find out that they are mates?
