Mind over Magic

A powerful mage's spell to prevent a catastrophe goes wrong, sending his consciousness, or "Ego," into another universe. The Ego finds Zydan, a 19-year-old, and guides him on a journey to unlock hidden powers. Zydan takes on daily tasks to improve mentally and emotionally, unaware that the Ego is stealing digital currency from criminals to sustain itself.

As Zydan balances university, chess, and work, taking care of his a dog and boosting his emotional well-being. Meanwhile, a syndicate begins closing in, adding danger to Zydan's path to unlocking his potential.
