Amruteshwar Temple: A Revered Shiva Temple Near Bhandardara

The Amruteshwar Temple is believed to have been built in the 9th century during the reign of the Shilahara dynasty, making it over a thousand years old. This ancient temple is a fine example of Hemadpanthi architectural style, which is characterized by its use of locally available black basalt stone, intricate carvings, and the absence of mortar in construction.
