She looked away, grumbling, "Because... because you're supposed to be loyal to me."
Vi's smirk faltered slightly.
Caitlyn crossed her arms tighter. "I mean-not that we ever had anything. But still! You-You can't just..."
She trailed off, biting her lip.
Vi studied her for a long moment. "Caitlyn."
Caitlyn refused to meet her gaze.
Vi sighed, softer now. "I'm single, okay?"
Caitlyn swallowed.
Vi hesitated before continuing. "But yeah, I... I do love someone."
Caitlyn hiccupped, rubbing at her eyes furiously.
Vi reached for her, concerned. "Caitlyn, why are you-"
"I knew it!" Caitlyn blurted, voice wobbling.
Vi blinked. "Knew what?"
Caitlyn sniffled. "You do love someone! And-and now I have to compete with them?"
Vi opened her mouth-then shut it, utterly baffled. "I-what?"
Caitlyn grabbed Vi's hands. "Just-just love me instead!"

She never did relationships, though. Too useless and complicated. But suddenly Caitlyn Kiramman enteres Vi's life and her initial sexual attraction slowly evolves to something more. Something vulnerable and complicated. She has started to like Caitlyn more than she'd actually allow herself to. The most wanted criminal in Piltover, the infamous Jinx, is finally captured, much thanks to the sheriff's partner, Vi. Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would. I published a preview book for it as the second Arcane work I put out, and four books later, here it is. Better late than never, I guess. I hope you enjoy it. Although this follows Caitlyn and Vi closely there's a lot of story development as well that I'm having fun with. Noxus, Zaun... culminating in a massive battle... I loved Arcane. It left off too soon, so I couldn't wait to write a story based on the series. The animations, music and storytelling coupled with emotion from every character was astounding. I'm excited to see the masterful art Riot will have in store for next season. But while we wait here's something to chew on... I'd say this is mature YA (a bit of language) nothing too explicit here. Absolutely loved this series and cannon from the League of Legends world. I may have started playing LoL before it officially launched in 2009 I personally see myself in the 3 protagonists Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharing a lot of their strengths and weaknesses.
