A Monster. That's what they'd always called her. Sasha wasn't delusional enough to think they were wrong.

Made of shadow and suffering, raised in cold and cruelty, she was every inch the monster the world feared her to be. She tried not to hate herself for it, for the way this world had forced her to be. 

Maybe she did not deserve this life she'd been given, the life that had been forced on her, but she'd been through too much to give it up now.
