Minho, a 20 year old, 3rd year college student, has always lived in the shadow of his mother-Dr. Lee, a renowned AI scientist. Her world revolves around circuits and algorithms, leaving very little room for him. But when she unveils her latest creation, a humanoid robot named P-1409 aka Peter, everything changes.
Peter is a test model made to assist the
future generations. But there was yet one test remaining that it needed to pass-he shouldn't get too attached to someone/something or grow any feelings.
Peter is too perfect. He's everything anyone has ever dreamed of in a person: intelligent, kind, and endlessly curious about the world. As Minho spends more time with him, he starts to feel something impossible-love.
But what Minho doesn't know is that Peter isn't human. He's an AI-his mother's most advanced experiment, built in secret with technology beyond anything the world has ever seen. Dr. Lee has spent years perfecting P-1409, ensuring he could pass as human in every way. Minho's's love for him was never part of the plan and never intended for her son to fall in love with him. And she certainly never intended for him to discover the other truth she's been hiding.
Peter isn't just any AI. He's a perfect replica of someone else-Han Jisung, the son of Dr. Lee's best friend.
As Minho and Peter grow closer, the lies begin to unravel. Why did his mother keep the robot a secret from him and what will happen when Minho finally learns the truth?
