It's the last day of junior year and James, Kyle, Winter, and Skylor all go to the diner to get ice cream. Kyle and Winter are together, and so are James and Skylor. However out of the two, James and Skylor are the dream couple, yet don't know why. They go to their yearly family trip to Maine like normal, but something happens. So James and Kyle both don't want to go as much as their girlfriends don't want them to go especially since they would be there for the whole summer. So instead, James decides to get a summer job and while he's working there he meets a girl named August. He immediately liked her, and after barely knowing her, he admits his love. His guilt is piling up within him as he does so. What's gonna happen?  What's gonna happen between James and August, and what about Kyle and Winter???
