Life hasn't always been good for Moxxie, between survivor's guilt from the accident that killed her mother and being denied her dream career by her father. She gets by working at the restaurant her family friends own, a pizzeria decked out with singing animatronic animals.  But misfortune seems to follow the Aftons wherever they go, and maybe Michael is wrong.

Maybe the joy of creation isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Shit happens when you get a new job at a pizza restaurant with killer animatronics and a hot co-worker, but hey, at least employees get free pizza! Basically exactly what the title says, a story about the reader (that's you!) falling in love with the best purple guy out there (he's not purple in this fic don't worry). This fic should be gender neutral (bc everyone loves Micheal!), however I am a female writer so the ocassional female description might accidently slip in (i'm a student with very little time and no patience to correct mistakes so I also apologise for those). Afton Robotics LLC; voted America's most reliable tech company since 1983, is known mainly for making animatronics for a pizzeria chain owned by Fazbear Entertainment. In fact, Mr. Afton is the co-owner of the local Fazbears Pizzeria. Y/N's parents assist in supplying Afton Robotics with minor technical supplies, when Afton finds out that the L/N's have potential in building his new line of animatronics he promotes them to executive technicians. However, this came with a small catch, they needed to move to the same state as Afton to work in his shop. Y/N L/N, caught up in the middle of her parent's careers, doesn't like this idea. She didn't want to leave her friends, childhood home, etc. But that's not the only con of moving... William Aftons son, Michael. The typical "teenage dirtbag", he and his gang of friends are known to be trouble. After moving into her new home, Y/N thinks that things couldn't get worse; she was in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. She soon finds out the Aftons live in her neighborhood, they actually live right across from her, Michael Afton was going to be her neighbor. Immediately Michael was a jerk to her, as she expected. The most unexpected thing, he's fallen for her.

About a year later, now 17 years old, she finds a job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. She swore to herself that she would protect the kids that go there, even if it cost her life. One day she was out working, she was celebrating a kid's birthday. She hung out with him and his friends because she was told she was allowed to keep an eye on them. Soon seeing that the children are being led by somebody in an animatronic suit, she follows them, having a very bad feeling about the person inside the suit. She tried convincing the kids to get out, but it was too late once the door was locked shut. One by one, Willaim Afton murders each child, with Corinne not being able to protect them in time. She mentally says her final goodbyes to her family, and mentally says sorry to the children she wasn't able to protect as her world fades away after being the second one to get murdered by the one whom she thought she trusted most...
