Nicole is an orphan and a diligent and hardworking high school student who cannot express herself, causing many to misunderstood her. After losing her friends, she discovers anime, and turns to it to feel positive emotions while pretending to be emotionless outside. She started playing Otome games to feel love, even if its only fiction. "This way, I will no longer lose anyone. How can I lose someone if I have no one?"
One day, while she's on her way home, she noticed a little girl leaving her mother's side as the woman was talking on her phone and the girl started crossing the pedestrian lane. Nicole saw a truck heading strait towards the girl. The scene was so familiar to her, but she still ran towards the girl who is frozen in fear. She managed to save the young girl, but at the cost of her own life.
Nicole woke up in a place where everywhere is white and met God. Apparently, because of her good deed she will be reincarnated. She tried to refuse because according to the books she read about the reincarnation, the reincarnated one will always face troubles, and she doesn't want that! But before she can even refuse, God already sent her to another world.
Nicole woke up as a baby and was named by her new parents as Layla Fiora, daughter of a duke and a misunderstood villainess from the game Forbidden Love. 'I thought this is my reward for doing some good deed... Then why am I reborn as a villain!'
How will Nicole avoid getting killed when she herself is misunderstood? And why are the capture targets so interested in her?! 'Please let me live!'
