The queen gave birth to twins. The only children of the Royal line, one boy and what the queen called "a genderless abomination".
The queen tried to kill the child, claiming over and over that she only had one son, and that the king could never know.
About 16 years later the queen died of illness and word about the second twin had gotten to the king's ears, and soon they had been found to continue their life in the castle as the royalty they always have supposed to be.
