In a world without the concept of Impressionism, he accurately grasped the essence of my painting.
He sincerely and honestly shared his thoughts, which was very touching since I had never heard raw impressions of my work from anyone other than family.
"The exhibition held this time was very good."
Compliments are like a carrot that makes even whales dance. Despite knowing that he is terrifying and obsessive, my heart was moved.
When I stripped away the bad rumors and the image from the novel, Alexei didn't seem like such a bad person. This was a problem.
I nervously relaxed my guard and looked at Alexei. He had a perfect golden ratio. If a masterful sword, forged thousands or even tens of thousands of times, were to become a person, it would look like this. Sharp, cold, and capable of harm, yet beautiful.
As I stared at Alexei, he approached the portrait. Our eyes met, and his lips touched the painting.
"Then I'll see you again tomorrow."
After watching his reliable back walk away for a while, I collapsed onto the ground. 'What's going on? Did I just kiss a man? No, there was a wall in between, so our lips didn't actually touch. But why is this happening? My heart.' My heart was racing so much that I could hardly breathe.
After dazing for a while, I scrambled up like a jellyfish, dived onto my bed, and thought, "This is all because that perverted guy is handsome. I'm fine!"

"You thought you could get away from me forever?" His flourish Russian accent whispered as he took slow but determined steps forward.
"Do you even question why I left?" He muttered, stepping back and away from the bigger man. "Why I don't want you here?"
"Is it necessary? I've found you, and what you've hidden from me." Steadily, his eyes lowered towards the small child clung onto his wife's hand, dark blue eyes never leaving the identical ones.
Nari scowled, preparing himself for the worst yet to come.
