Ember Odair leads a rich life in District 4: she's the sister of the famous Finnick Odair, winner of the Hunger Games at just 14 years old, and she knows that everyone hopes that one day she will offer herself as a tribute. However, there's no need, because first her sister Ribelle is reaped and, the following year, she herself, at her first Reaping. This Odair "massacre" goes against all statistics and Ember will have to end her childhood too soon, forced to grow up early by the horrible world into which she was born. She will have to understand what and who is behind all this, defeat her inner demons and learn to do the most important thing of all in a place like Panem: accept death, even of the people she loves. This is her life path, from birth to freedom.

❝I save others to forget I don't know how to save myself.❞ ➳➳➳ When one has no prospect of life, what shall they do? When their death is guaranteed for daring to be born in a district, and grow up with the title of Victor's child, what's the next step? Should they accept it? Or fight it? Is there a third choice? Dove Ogilvy, the youngest daughter of District Four's controversial victor, found out the existence of the third to be real. The problem, however, was that it could only be given to the future-to-be tribute by a specific person, not decided by the tribute themselves. It was a deal. A life for a life. ➳➳➳ ╔══════ ≪ °❈° ≫ ══════╗ 𝐋𝐄𝐓 ℍ𝔼𝕃𝕃 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐃𝐃𝐒 𝐁𝐄 𝔼𝕍𝔼ℝ 𝐈𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐔𝐑 ╚══════ ≪ °❈° ≫ ══════╝ ➳➳➳ I DO NOT OWN THE HUNGER GAMES I only own the Ogilvy kids, a few side characters that aren't mentioned in the book, and my representation of the 66th and 67th Hunger Games. The book is based off The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. PRE-HUNGERGAMES―POST-MOCKINGJAY DISCLAIMERS―Typical Hunger Games violence and death. Language.
