At the end of the 19th century, the archipelago came under Dutch colonial rule. Oppression, injustice and suffering are an inseparable part of the lives of indigenous people. In the midst of this brutal colonialism, a hero emerged who became a symbol of the resistance of the Pitung people. The story takes place in Batavia, a city filled with tension between colonial rulers and the oppressed people. The villages around Batavia suffered from stifling taxes, forced labor, and land confiscation by the colonial government. In the midst of these conditions, a young man named Pitung emerged as hope for the people. Pitung is a champion from Betawi who has extraordinary martial arts skills. He led the people's resistance with his intelligence, courage, and amazing ability to disappear and attack the enemy by surprise. He became a frightening specter for the invaders, but a hero for his people. Pitung not only had to face cruel colonial military forces, but also betrayal from his own people, who were tempted by the lure of power and wealth from the Dutch. Pitung and his small group fought against oppression with guerrilla attacks, using their knowledge of the jungle and the city to launch unexpected lightning attacks. However, Pitung was not an ordinary fighter. He realized that the fight against invaders was not only about weapons, but also about maintaining identity and dignity as a nation. Therefore, Pitung not only fights physically, but also by inspiring the people to rise up, fight injustice, and defend their traditional values.

A young man with a mystery had been enrolled in a top school. After a life full of pain, and darkness held deeper down, he would have to come to terms with the monster he was. He had pushed through it all, but instead of leaving his demons behind, he only drowned himself with them in the end. Almost as if a water balloon was being filled, he let everything pile up. It was only a matter of time till he couldn't hold anymore, and popped. He would be tested, to see whether he would surpass his darkness and rise to rule with the others. Or left for dead, unable to control himself to the point of self-destruction. All he needed was a supporting hand, or so he thought, but when that hand came to him, he ended up rejecting it unwillingly. Pushing himself darker as his past consumes him once again. Can he finally break his own mold? Can he break the molds of others for the better? Could he possibly change the world around him once and for all? Or will history repeat itself as he drags down everyone with him once again... A lost mind in a powerful body, with a dark background, a short fuse, and a deep secret. With a heart of black and a brain of gold. As you read, you will learn about the world around him, what makes him so special, and will find out how he may have A Darkness Within...
