Chained Together

In days of yore, upon the earthly realm so fair,
A band of souls, by fate's decree, did gather there.
From tavern's hearth where laughter's echo rang,
To distant lands where doom and shadows hang.
With sorrowed hearts and tempests in their breast,
They forged a bond, a chain put to the test.

Through fields of strife and wizard's ancient lore,
They sought the strength to face what lies in store.
For in the depths of Hell's fiery maw,
The Devil waits, with dread and cruel law.
Yet ere the final clash 'gainst darkness' might,
They must in wisdom and in skill unite.

Shall they endure the trials set by fate's cruel hand?
Or falter 'fore the evil that besets their land?
Will wizard's guidance lead them to the light?
Or shall they perish in eternal night?
Let the tale unfold, let courage be their plea,
