Belvina Overstreet has the blood of two pureblood families flowing in her veins, but she's only proud of one. Specifically, she admires one of her maternal uncles from the Black family who dared to defy his family's beliefs. Though she never met him, having been imprisoned in Azkaban before her second birthday. In the contrary, her paternal family-the Overstreets-had also painted Sirius Black as a blood traitor, so they raised Belvina to understand the worth of being a pureblood and to accept her role as the sole heir to both families.
Everything changed for the worst when she was sorted into Gryffindor instead of Slytherin, and history seemed to repeat itself. No member of the Overstreet family had ever been placed in any house other than Slytherin, and the only family member who had been sorted elsewhere was Sirius Black, the very person her family did not want her to be like.

Names and characters (except the main character) are taken from JK Rowling's work. I don't own any of them. Nevertheless, the story is my invention. I don't agree with Rowling's homotransphobic views. DISCLAIMER: In this story: Narcissa and Bella are step-sisters and are not blood-related. The only challenges Harry had to face were stealing the Philosopher's Stone from Lord Voldemort and sending his ghost away in the Chamber of Secret. The Three Wizards Tournament didn't involve Barty Crouch Junior at all and everything went well, in fact Cedric didn't die in the last challenge. Sirius was at Azkaban until Harry went to Elementary school, then he was freed by Dumbledore and was sent home; he needed to prove to the Ministry of Magic he was capable of taking care of himself and only after six years he found out about his Godson. Harry has been living at Grimmauld Place with Sirius ever since he went to Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort hasn't risen completely yet. Luna, Ginny and Astoria are all in the same year. Remus works at the Ministry of Magic and comes to visit Sirius once in a while. Olivia, the main character, grew up half with Bellatrix and half with Sirius, but only in the present time he could win the battle with Bellatrix and send Olivia to Hogwarts.
