This book is a compilation of prose and poetry.
The author views "skies and fields" as a metaphor of one's ups and downs. This poet believes that even during the prettiest night sky, there were tears. The writer surmised that even in the shiniest ray of the sun, there is pain. The author presumes that even in our darkest days, there is happiness. They even believe that during our breakdowns, there is love- there is hope.
Skies are not exclusive to one's ups. Fields are not exclusive to one's downs. Right in the places we will go and we have been, it is our decision what to feel, not to feel, to see, and not to see. Beauty is in the eyes of those who know poetry. Lastly, we are the one responsible what to weave on our personal tapestry called life.
