Sonic the Hedgehog: New Genesis

On the planet Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog is the fastest that ever lived. However, many sought after his power, so he was always told to hide his true potential. One day, a mad scientist overthrew the kingdoms and began to use his technology to replace life with metal and machinery. The Freedom Fighters were formed to fight him. On their latest attack, Sonic wrecks Robotnik's doomsday machine and ends up caught in an explosion. He finds himself in another world but makes new friends fairly quickly. However, a threat from this other world appears to take Sonic's power. In spite of the many challenges that will come, Sonic will fight to protect those he cares about.
