"B-big brother?" " Yes, Victoria?" He croaks, choking back his tears as he gently holds his sister's hand. "Is it...," She weakly tilts her head towards the hospital window, "Is it spring yet?" "Yes. It's finally spring." He sobs as his beloved sister closes her eyes and smiles. "Yay!" she says, with her very last breath. ~ After Victoria's death, her older brother begins a downward spiral. Dropping out of law school, quitting his job, and leaving the country. He tries to start a new. With no family to hold him down, no friends to keep track of, he goes completely free. Exploring the world. Meeting exotic women, none of which capture his interest enough for him to stay. Doing good and bad deeds. He is completely alone until one day, when he meets his near-death, a girl comes to his rescue. She helps him recover from his past. Helps fight his demons. Helps him love spring again.
