Lin is comfortable in her current life, she's had relationships over the years that didn't work out, but romance isn't on the agenda for her today, right?
Tenzin tells Lin about his situation with Pema and hope floods both of their hearts.

For a moment, his blue-gray eyes jumped from her jade eyes to her lips and back again. She could smell his scent more intensely, she felt his breath close to her, and he brought his hand to her scarred cheek, their gazes met again, causing her to start to lose control. He looked at her lips again and brushed his thumb across her lower lip, sending tremors through Lin's body.
