Max knows Lila's lying. He try's to help Marinette expose her but Lila lies about him and he gets exspelled. Kim trails behind Lila like a lost puppy 🐶 and lets Lila lie to him. Lila feeds Kim lies
"Oh Kim I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but Max has been talking about you behind your back"
"Kim Max thinks your dumb. But your smart to me"
"Kim Max is just jealous of you because you can swim and he can't"
It only takes a few of these lies for Kim to swallow and end his friendship with Max. In fear of being akumatized and hurting his true friends and mom Max runs away. Max's mom is devastated. Marinette is FURIOUS. And the akuma class? Could care less. Marinette needs to find allies to find the heartbroken and missing nerd. And maybe make their friendship stronger.

However, only Nino, Luka, Kagami, and Alya know about Marinette's true colors. Marinette wasn't born in Paris, she was born in Nanda Parbat. She was raised by Monks that helped her after her birth parents died. There she met Damian, Talia, and Ra's Al Ghul. Somehow, she and Damian became close but after Deathstroke's attack, the league members Tom and Sabine Dupain-Cheng decided to adopt Marinette and take her to Paris. She never saw Damian again. Until Now... Marinette had won her class a trip to Gotham City, she was finally gonna see Damian again. But will Lila be able to come between them or will their love finally stop her? So it's no surprise that the son of her parents close friends who has to live, work at the bakery, and attend school with her develop's feelings for her. Miraculous: The Second Agreste Who Became A Hero
Marinette's life was getting bad ever since Lila promise to her in which she told lies about what Marinette did but didn't do in which all of her friends except for Chloe, Nino, Alix, Kagami Juleka, Zoe and Luka turned against her and bullied her and not even Adrien who was her crush but got rejected by him and told her to take the high road saying that Lila's lies weren't hurting anyone but they were in which they were hurting her badly. Marinette's ex friends started to bully her and hurt her while Adrien didn't do anything to stop Lila from ruining her life in which the love for Adrien died out because Marinette sees for what he truly is and that is a spineless coward who doesn't do anything but take the liar's side instead. But everything was going to change when someone new arrived who shares some similarities to the Agreste and he will not be like the others who fall for the liar but instead will help Marinette with her problems as well as finding a new love interest because the new guy is very compassionate and kind as well as smart.
