"They're going to kill you" he said. 
He grabbed me by my shoulders and shook them violently. A look of exasperation was clearly etched upon his face. His eyes were glossy with tears. The wrinkles around his eyes were prominent, one of the many signs that his death was nearing. 

I scoffed. 

"I'm better off dead anyways"

"No"

His tone caught me off guard. My eyes met his. Determination and admiration were swimming in the pool of blue in his twinkling eyes. He then said, 

"My boy, the people of Egypt need you. I need you but most importantly, laila needs you."
