Kokushibo envied his brother. He envied Yoriichi until the day the man died of old age. He envied and loathed Yoriichi Tsugikuni. After Yoriichi's death, Kokushibo's life was... better. He grew stronger, like he wanted to. He buried the memories of his brother in the depts of his mind.

However, those memories are brought back up when he encounters a young Demon Slayer, who resembles Yoriichi too much.

He begins the journey to find out if he's supposed to follow the same destiny as his ancestor, or if he should find his own. In the world where death is ruthless and unforgiving, his main task is to make sure everyone can leave the war out alive. He has help of a sister that he swore to protect, the lover that he was meant to find, and friends who soon become his new family. A complex story with an additional development that wasn't seen in main canon, but it became a base to a whole new events and results, trying to show a lot of love and attention to our beloved characters, so they feel even more real and deep. Struggling with not only demons but their own problems and doubts. Plot armor isn't bad when you face so many other different challenges and you're at risk of losing many times. Some chapters might have a recomendation of Demon Slayer inspired track which are an inspiration to me. Check out these artists as they are a huge part of my life. The boy tells him about his family being attacked. Giyu then trains the boy to become a demon slayer. Tanjiro and Giyu become much closer and they now trust one another. One day Giyu is sent to the mountains to kill a demon who is strong but not enough to be an upper rank. Giyu goes and doesn't return for days. Tanjiro is then called to the master's mansion for a meeting and is told that since he is the closest to Giyu he must go and try to find Giyu. Tanjiro then goes as he is told. As he climbs the mountains to find Giyu, the air becomes thicker and he is struggling to breathe. After struggling he finally finds Giyu, who is unconscious on the ground. He looks strange. What happened to him? Was he attacked by the demon and killed? Read more to find out! Author's note: Hello, this is my first Wattpad Fanfic story.
