Kokushibo envied his brother. He envied Yoriichi until the day the man died of old age. He envied and loathed Yoriichi Tsugikuni. After Yoriichi's death, Kokushibo's life was... better. He grew stronger, like he wanted to. He buried the memories of his brother in the depts of his mind.

However, those memories are brought back up when he encounters a young Demon Slayer, who resembles Yoriichi too much.

Something that made his chest tighten instinctively. Muzan. The resemblance wasn't physical alone. It clung to her presence, seeped from her skin as though the night itself had marked her. She stood beside a tall man Tanjiro didn't recognize, her posture calm, composed - too calm. Her red eyes mirrored Muzan's almost perfectly: sharp, unblinking, merciless at a glance. It ignited something hot and ugly in Tanjiro's chest. His grip tightened on his sword. And yet... he didn't know her. She wasn't attacking. She wasn't threatening. She was simply *there*. The woman exhaled softly, as though just remembering herself. "Ah," she said, voice smooth, unhurried. "How rude of me." Her gaze met his, steady and unflinching. "I am Kizuki," she continued. He has help of a sister that he swore to protect, the lover that he was meant to find, and friends who soon become his new family. A complex story with an additional development that wasn't seen in main canon, but it became a base to a whole new events and results, trying to show a lot of love and attention to our beloved characters, so they feel even more real and deep. Struggling with not only demons but their own problems and doubts. Plot armor isn't bad when you face so many other different challenges and you're at risk of losing many times. Some chapters might have a recomendation of Demon Slayer inspired track which are an inspiration to me. Check out these artists as they are a huge part of my life.
