Kokushibo envied his brother. He envied Yoriichi until the day the man died of old age. He envied and loathed Yoriichi Tsugikuni. After Yoriichi's death, Kokushibo's life was... better. He grew stronger, like he wanted to. He buried the memories of his brother in the depts of his mind.

However, those memories are brought back up when he encounters a young Demon Slayer, who resembles Yoriichi too much.

A warm liquid spilled in his mouth with a rush followed by a burning sensation searing his insides from the tip of his tongue past his stomach to the very tip of his toenails. Blood. Demon blood. Oh Michikatsu, my dear older brother, what have you done? * Kokushibo traps his newly, unwilling demon brother inside a cave while he goes off on his own to train even harder so he will win their next match. Therefore when a young Kamado Tanjiro happens upon a trapped demon inside the mountain, he mistakes him for a god and places offerings inside the cave.

The boy tells him about his family being attacked. Giyu then trains the boy to become a demon slayer. Tanjiro and Giyu become much closer and they now trust one another. One day Giyu is sent to the mountains to kill a demon who is strong but not enough to be an upper rank. Giyu goes and doesn't return for days. Tanjiro is then called to the master's mansion for a meeting and is told that since he is the closest to Giyu he must go and try to find Giyu. Tanjiro then goes as he is told. As he climbs the mountains to find Giyu, the air becomes thicker and he is struggling to breathe. After struggling he finally finds Giyu, who is unconscious on the ground. He looks strange. What happened to him? Was he attacked by the demon and killed? Read more to find out! Author's note: Hello, this is my first Wattpad Fanfic story. I really hope you enjoy it although not many people enjoy this ship due to the age difference, but I do want to make it clear that I'm this fanfic I made them only four years apart, which will most likely not change anything. A complex story with an additional development that wasn't seen in main canon, but it became a base to a whole new events and results, trying to show a lot of love and attention to our beloved characters, so they feel even more real and deep. Struggling with not only demons but their own problems and doubts. Plot armor isn't bad when you face so many other different challenges and you're at risk of losing many times.
