But the ending was, still, death.

On his 118th cycle, he realized it was all meaningless. The fairytale ending he dreamed of would never happen; his script as the villain is to burn for a foolish one-sided love and die. Yet, as he resisted his scripted role, a strange transformation took hold. Those who once spurned him now clamored for his affection.

His fiancé, the grand duke, who betrayed him. His childhood friend, the crown prince, who abandoned him,  and the male lead, whose route will always lead to his death.

Yet is driven by a singular desire to escape from the confines of this wretched game, one way or another.

Even if it meant killing the main characters.
