France, 1917.
The Great War rages on, and 14-year-old Madeline Rappeneau fights a battle on two fronts.
By day, she volunteers at a hospital as a nurse's aide. By night, she sneaks into the muddy trenches as a field medic. Aiding her is a mystical bracer once owned by the legendary Jeanne d'Arc.
Intuitive and headstrong, Madeline uses medical skills gleaned from her father and the ancient armor's power to save lives on the battlefield. But an unknown force with knowledge of the bracer's true abilities conspires to bend her fate toward their own. The German war machine becomes the least of her worries when Madeline and her closest friend embark on a quest for answers, encountering nightmarish living puppets and life-threatening riddles.

A game of stealth and survival unfolds as Madeline races across the French landscape to unlock the secrets of Jeanne d'Arc and her bracer... or risk falling to the same grisly fate.
