This is the second rewrite of this entire story
when a storm hits the rose gold kingdom, dark cacao and the ancients go to help her along with their bodyguards
cacao, for as long as he can remember, has been stuck in a spiral of guilt and has never found a way to get out of it, however this Will be the start of that journey of getting out of it
This story takes place 2 years after the first dark cacao update and the beginning of the story takes place around a month before the second beast yeast story
This story will contain Celtic folklore and history

(HEY 2026 A/N HERE! Don't read this story it's extremely outdated, Dark Cacao Cookie is horribly mischaracterized in this story and overall is written poorly. This was my first ever fic so of course it's bad but please i really don't like this story, how i written the canon characters. I am extremely ashamed how i wrote Dark Cacao Cookie. He was written to be a horrible and abusive father which is not how his character is. Then again this was orgininally written in 2021 i think? So it was around the time where we didn't know much about the ancient cookies and Dark Cacao Cookie was often depicated as a horrible father. Please do forgive me for how i wrote his character when i was thirteen-fourteen years old. So... I am not sure if I seen anyone liking this kind of ship when I read cookie run fanfiction, but Imma make one because I liked this ship :3 Summary It was at the end of final battle between the cookies and the Dark Enchantress cookie who was actually White Lily cookie who was being controlled by darkness that took over her body. Every cookie decided to save White Lily cookie from the darkness by destroying Dark Enchantress cookie. However, before the Dark Enchantress cookie was destroyed, she attempted to place a curse on every cookie which it did not work. Pure Vanilla with the help of all of the support cookies put up a shield to protect everyone. In the exchange for everyone's safety, he was put under the sleeping curse. What will Gingerbrave and his comrades do? Will White Lily assist them to save Pure Vanilla from this curse? Dark Cacao Cookie seems to have feelings for this pure cookie after Pure Vanilla looked into Cacao's eyes and mouthed 'I love you' before he was put under the sleeping curse. He does not know how he would bring this up to the other 3 ancient cookies who were still trying to figure out how to lift this curse. Will he be able to confess his feelings to Pure Vanilla even though he sees him mouthing those words to him? How would the other three ancient cookies react?
