peony runs away after a nasty confrontation with his mother,what she doesn't expect is a creature almost killing him while running away, much less becoming his prisoner...and friend?

He almost thinks that this encounter was hallucinated in some way, but once he sees a familiar face in a distant shore. He wonders if there was ever a hallucination at all.
