Michael "Mikey Arclight," refuse to go back to Silver Wood School after fighting back from bullies until a series of mysterious and dangerous drugs propels him to return. The new girl, Faith Yurei, a young girl who briefly lived in Japan appears to be the suspect until he learns she's a Sage: a mage relying on magic based on natural energy.
Learning the truth of why she's there, he decides to stay in school to help her stop the mastermind behind these attacks , improve the class environment, and not feel on and island like she is.... definitely not because he finds her cute.

Brooklyn goes to middle school. She thinks having a crush on some guy seems easy but stupid. She has had a crush on Jack Palmer for a few years now. Though, she doesn't really know love. Each day seems to be it's usual, until he offers to take her to a party. The classic mean girls still exist. At Brooklyn's school that title belongs to Sasha Evans. She has been the girl that shows up followed by trouble at it's least expected. After awhile they don't know what else to expect. Trying to live the most of your middle school year is a pain when you are someone else's piece in their fun. Brooklyn meets old friends and new people which can bring struggles.
