Things aren't always what they seem.
Idalia is left alone when her parents vanished unexpectedly, leaving behind nothing but a strange, cryptic note. Now she sets off to find them, chasing whispers and half-remembered stories into the deep, forgotten woods.
There, she stumbles upon a mythical tree spoken of only in old tales. When she makes a desperate deal with it, the price is steep: she is cursed, forever bound to a mysterious boy, an ancient soul imprisoned for centuries, now forced to follow wherever she goes.
