IN WHICH a new girl comes in to disrupt the peace within a close-knit friend group.

OR

IN WHICH two people finally find the missing half they've been looking for their entire lives.

*:・゚✧*:・゚

When Lainey's mom tells her that they'll be moving to a new town, she knows that can only mean one thing - Having to make a completely new circle of friends. Not that she had too many in the first place, but it's different having to open yourself up to brand new people rather than ones that have known you your whole life.

Walker has almost had everything he's ever wanted his entire life. The best friends a guy could ask for, a successful and loving family, a great school with great grades. Little did he know, the only thing he's been lacking all this time was a girl to finally bring him out of his shell.

He's never been too good at openly expressing his emotions, but neither has she. As their worlds collide some secrets are spilled, and it's only a matter of how much they can trust each other for them to not get out.

Will this move be a good thing for Lainey in the end, or will it just end in utter dismay?

They call her the devil's bitch, the principal's worst nightmare, and a screwed up whore. They can think what they want, JJ Ashton has heard these all throughout high school. She doesn't want a future, she just wants to take control of now. She's everything Birchwood Prep doesn't want, but is deemed to get after her Father decided it was the only option for her to find some discipline. She's not going to make it that easy for them. Gideon Andrews is the perfect student. Good grades, never missed a day, and never had been in trouble of any sort. He thinks life is great, but meeting JJ, she thinks life for him could be better. Less plain and vanilla. He hates her guts. It's mutual for her as well. But the headmaster has made it Gideon's personal mission to get her back on track and into a better life. "You should care, Dylan. You would still be living in the back of a car, stealing from Seven Eleven! Is that what you want?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The "Four Musketeers." That's what they called them. If they weren't all together they were two on two. And they give zero fucks about life. The Adopted one The Bad boy The Player The Best friend Dylan is like most troubled girls. She doesn't care about her grades, she skips school, hangs with the wrong crowds, and hates her parents. But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. He would die a thousand times over before anyone hurt Dylan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Dylan's not just my whole life, she makes my life whole. Some days she's the only reason I get out of bed. Without her in my life there is no point in living. She's like the air I breathe. Without her I can't live. She's my best friend and I will love her to the day I die." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This summer Dylan gets the opportunity to do what every guidance counselor has claimed she's always wanted to do . . . split up her family. Will she realize splitting up her family won't help anything? Or will she just not care? After all she was abandoned once.
