As Rody looked into Vincent's eyes, he saw the stars. Reflecting.

Rody is hopeful for the future. He wants to open his own food truck sort of thing! If he can learn to cook without burning everything... That's when he meets Vincent. The quiet and young chef with an annoyingly sexy sass enters Rody's life with a boom. You'll figure out later.

Vincent looked back, looking at the star-dust sky in Rody's eyes and taking a deep breath.
"Yes. Most definitely. Then again, how would I know?"

Vincent isn't very hopeful for the future. He's stressed 24/7, is trying not to get disowned from his family and still not out himself. Then he meets Rody. A bubbly and gentle giant with a smile that could brighten a room. Even if he was taller than Rody. Only by a few centimetres though...
When two meet by a mistaken drunk make out and losing a piece of paper, the two have no choice but to get to know each other. As days turn to weeks and weeks to months, they start to grow closer.

What if in ending 1 of DeadPlate, Manon was actually alive? What if she purposefully ignored Rody's calls? What happened after Rody called her? This is an slow-burn story where Manon didn't actually die and lives as she proceeds to moved on from the situation she had with Rody, and where Vincent wouldn't be so psychotic. Rody's a wreck as he goes through series of negative emotions that fills his head, in which Vincent would help him, even if didn't like displaying vulnerability around anyone at all. Will Rody and Vincent become best friends? Enemies? Or lovers? -This is my first time making a story that isn't a oneshot, and I'm actually going to make this into a short series of mentally unstable Rody Lamoree and a less psychotic Vincent Charbonneau.
