Well falling in love and finding his mate was certainly not the answer Azriel was expecting. ◈⋙◇◈◇⋘◈ I glance at Nesta who watches her mate slowly tethering on the edge of becoming unconscious as he refuses to tap out. "You want to call it or will we be down a trainer today?" I ask quietly as her eyes fume with rage over Scarletts victory. "That's enough." She snaps, projecting her voice. "He's done." Releasing him, Scarlett drops her grip and Cassian falls forward gasping for air. Turning on her heels she cocks her head as her eyes meet mine. "What do you say, Shadowsinger... up for a match?" Definitely Eris' daughter. The familiar arrogant and cocky attitude briefly shows on her face before she once again puts on the stoic expression of a warrior who can't be read. Not vocalizing my acceptance, I simply walk into the fighting area as Cassian shifts off to stand with his mate. No doubt another bet is being placed. "Nesta." She calls out without taking her eyes off me. "You call it." Changing her stance to a different one than what she started with in Cassian's fight I see just how smart she is. She's already switching her strategy up before she sees me make a move. "On three!" Nesta's voice calls through the air and I keep my focus on the female in front of me, her Amber eyes burning into me. "One!" A breeze blows and her scent fills my nose. Cider, cinnamon... mmm crisp leaves. "Two!" A living embodiment of Autumn. "Three!" Nesta calls and I wait for Scarlett to strike the first blow. ◈⋙◇◈◇⋘◈ A/N: I do not own any of these characters and this is a fanfic made for the fun of writing and the love of our fictional bat boys from the ACOTAR books! A Court of Scars and Shadows
Follows story line of the ACOTAR series.... picks off right after ACOSF, so of course spoilers are meant to be said in this story. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover! Same thing goes for the characters, Sarah J Maas, wrote these character from scratch. Except for my OC!Complete
