The war with the venin has come to a stalemate. Both sides are too weak to continue fighting, and all the venin and wyvern have mysteriously disappeared. To prevent more casualties and the loss of the war, leadership has decided to start Basgiath back up, only this time with the addition of gryphon riders and four total years in the war college for better training.
Conscription Day. Lynx Dracul successfully enters the Rider's Quadrant, which wouldn't be a big deal if she isn't what she is.

This book is a fan fiction of Rebecca Yarros' Empyrean series. It takes place one year before fourth wing, I plan to make books that follow the series. So there should be five more after this one, six in total. All characters and storyline belong to RY, besides Skyla Whitlock and some added characters that I made up due to when and where this book takes place.
