"All ready" she smiles innocently as she begins walking along, pulling me with her. 

It's a nice day, sun shining down on our backs, bright blue sky coating the space above us. Almost makes me wish I hadn't spent the past week hiding like a coward.

My long strides were big compared to her small steps. And before we know it we're at her resting place. An open field with rows of headstones marking a fallen soul. 

Theres hundreds of them, grave after grave. It's never ending. 

"Help me pick some for Mum, Crate" she smiles as she bends down and starts to pluck the wildflowers from their roots. 

"Alright" I sigh, kneeling to her side and grabbing handfuls if whatever I could find. Honeycomb heads, Penstemons, blue bonnets, and Boykinias were spread across the ground bringing a vibrance to the landscape.
