My summer job was the same every year - work at my mum's beachside resort, earn some cash and save for college. The most exciting thing that ever happened at the Monterey Hotel was screaming toddlers throwing an Oscar-winning tantrum in the lobby. Not to mention the devious love affairs that made even Gossip Girl jealous.

Yet what I didn't count on though, was meeting Ryker West.

He's daring. Annoying. Drop dead gorgeous. Has an ego bigger than the size of the hotel itself and takes immense joy in making my summer a living hell.

I'm an introvert, who likes to stay home, make lists and have a set routine. Ryker loves to party, break rules and flirt with the girls I work with. Me included.

With a summer full of surprises, new friendships, pranks, skinny-dipping and adventure, it looked like he was dragging me out of my comfort zone whether I liked it or not.
