It's summer and the only thing that Miya wants to do is stay in her room and relax but when her mom decides that they are going to their California Villa for vacation, Miya's dreams of a chill summer in her bedroom turn into a plane ride and family vacation to the beach. When they arrive Miya notices that they have neighbors as well and there is a boy named Collins that's around her age. He seems like a preppy high school jock and is definitely not Miya's style, but when he saves her from a group of grown men one night on beach, she can't help but begin to feel something for him. She begins hanging out with him and that's when he introduces her to his family and his identical twin brother that is the complete opposite of Collins and is in every way Miya's type, Carter.
