Jennifer's dream has been to work at Pine Peninsula in one of their haunted houses for the Halloween season. Follow along with the shenanigans that ensue as she meets her fellow monsters...Ghetto Fabulous, Tasha, Little Jack and Our Jack, The Voodoos, and the apple of her eye, Mark Tyler...and all the rest of the crew that make up a Halloween season at Pine Pen. It turns out that things might not be all that they seem on the Peninsula as people seem to disappear from life outside the houses and props seem to come to life. Has Jennifer's dream become more than she's bargained for?

After she stopped going outside, she began to ignore her friend, Jack. But He still came. Her family moves to North Carolina to get away from what Emily was encountering. "Who's there?" Sweet hot crust with fruit fillings. If only Morris wasn't allergic to them. To top off being surrounded by hundreds of pie makers and pie eaters, the townsfolk of Sweet Maple Pines are acting anxiously weird. Growing more persistent with giving Morris pies. Rachel Carpenter thought that she was done with life-threatening adventures. She was wrong. After she defeated Mr. Tophat, things fell into place for Rachel. Normalcy came back after the terrifying events with Mr. Tophat, and now she had a whole group of friends to lean on and to tell scary stories with. She even had a boyfriend, which surprised her most of all. They all were happy together and ready to tell the scary stories, not live them. But things went downhill fast. Right before spring break, another group of kids came to Argento, claiming that they were apart of the Midnight Society. Apparently, they had seen Akiko's movie that had premiered at a film festival in their town and thought that they should check out the other Midnight Society. After figuring out that there are actually two separate groups of the Midnight Society, Rachel and her friends invited the new group to the woods to talk about what it meant now that there were two Midnight Societies out there. Both groups were ecstatic that there were more people out there who told scary stories together. There were more people who understood that thrill of telling scary stories with the people they loved most. It was great to find out that there were people like them. That was, until their friends started to go missing one by one. Rachel couldn't believe that they were in another dark adventure. I have had, throughout my life, what I considered many isolated incidences, many strange happenings, but I never thought they were in any way connected. Now I think they are.
