MARWA is a story centered in the northern part of Nigeria. In a community filled with teenagers battling trauma, illiteracy, spiritual Faith and insecurity, MARWA is a story that takes you on a journey through a victim's POV.
This is Marwa Muhammad Dikko's solo quest to change the world. But what happens when her life takes on a huge turn? When a heart wrenching revelation breaks her apart along with her community. A wretched event that snatches her freedom.Will she sit and wail at her fate or stand tall and fiery, forging a path for others to follow? Worse did she even have a way out at all or was it left to fate this time?
Marwa tells a story, not just hers but a story of a community in northern Nigeria, a story of the type of fate countless number of young girls were subjected to, a story that the world and passage of time has silenced, but in the heart of hearts, somewhere behind bars, Marwa deeps her pen in ink and begins to write.
